Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026

1. Introduction

Audic AI (“Audic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides generative tools for audio ads, voiceovers, voice cloning, and related media. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you visit www.audic.ai or use the Service. It should be read with our Terms of Service.

We process personal data as a data fiduciary / controller for account, billing, and product operations. Where we process data only to provide a feature you requested (for example storing a file you uploaded), we do so to perform our contract with you.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone number, password hashes, Google account identifiers if you use Google Sign-In, and role on a team account.
  • Billing data: plan, credits, invoices, and payment method details processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Content you provide: scripts, briefs, website URLs, voice recordings, cloned-voice samples, uploaded music and other audio, images, logos, mix settings, transcripts, and generated output files.
  • Usage data: pages visited, feature use, generation job status, device/browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic logs.
  • Communications: support messages and emails you send us.

Voice recordings and biometric-adjacent voice data are used only to provide cloning, transcription, noise cleaning, and generation you request. We do not sell this data.

3. How we use data

  • Create and secure your account, and authenticate sign-in.
  • Generate, mix, preview, store, and deliver ads and voiceovers you request.
  • Process payments, credits, and subscriptions.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, copyright misuse, and security incidents.
  • Improve reliability and user experience of the Service (aggregated or de-identified where practical).
  • Send transactional messages (verification, receipts, security). Marketing emails only where permitted, with an unsubscribe option.
  • Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and respond to lawful requests.

We do not use your private scripts, voice samples, or uploaded media to train public foundation models without a separate, explicit consent. Technical processing required to run a job (for example sending audio to a speech or mix pipeline) is part of providing the Service.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, if you are in the EEA/UK, GDPR), we rely on: performance of a contract; consent (for example optional marketing or certain cookies); legitimate interests in running a secure service that do not override your rights; and legal obligation.

5. Sharing

We share personal data only as needed:

  • Cloud hosting and object storage for files you upload and we generate.
  • Payment and billing processors.
  • Authentication providers (for example Google) if you choose that sign-in method.
  • Email and operational tools.
  • Professional advisers and authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • A buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal data. If you publish or save content to a public or shared library, other users may access what the product makes visible.

6. Retention

We keep account and billing records as long as the account is active and as required for tax, dispute, and legal purposes. Uploaded and generated media are kept until you delete them or the account is closed, unless we must retain copies for security, backup, or legal reasons for a limited period. You can delete many items from the dashboard (for example library uploads). Contact us if you need help.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You must keep your password confidential.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email info@audic.ai. We may need to verify your identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local/session storage for sign-in, preferences, demo limits, and essential site function. Analytics cookies, if used, help us understand traffic. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking some cookies may break sign-in or playback.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

We and our processors may store and process data in India and other countries. If we transfer personal data from a region that requires safeguards, we use appropriate contractual or legal mechanisms.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be notified through the Service or email where we have it. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised Policy.
